3com - PCS Set PC Client Software
This client software
puts the equivalent of an NBX business telephone onto the screen of
a Windows-equipped PC. With NBX pcXset software, the user doesn't
need a separate telephone set; the user employs an attached, optional
headset, and dials by mouse-clicking on the display. The easy-to-install
software reduces the cost and eliminates the desktop clutter of a
separate telephone, while giving its user full NBX functionality.
The NBX pcXset software works with Windows 95/98 and NT-based PCs.
As with all NBX telephones, it can operate as a Layer 2 (Ethernet)
or Layer 3 (IP) device.
